Xcel Football Academy was established with the sole purpose to recreate a professional football academy environment for elite players.

 

The Club Philosophy

Our philosophy has been devised by full time coaches and scouts of professional football clubs. The coaching and games programme will replicate that of a professional football academy with the sole purpose to develop grass root players to play academy standard.

Our games programme will consist of playing against professional football academies giving the players an opportunity to showcase their talent in front of club scouts. Scouts from different clubs at all professional levels will also be invited to watch all fixtures and training sessions.

 

Club Development Programme

Here at Xcel Football Academy, we have devised a carefully structured coaching programme to target the individuals needs which is essentially based on trust, focuses primarily on the technical aspects of a young player's development and the psychological aspects of a young player's cognitive growth. The tactical and physical aspects of these young players development will be incorporated within sessions in a global approach to learning.

All sessions sessions are pre-planned meticulously with specific learning outcomes in mind. Players will learn to trust each other with and without the ball, with bravery to play always at the forefront of our minds.

 

Our Beliefs

Xcel Football Academy players are encouraged to express themselves and are and nurtured within a professional football academy environment. Xcel Football Academy have strong values and beliefs which underpin their own philosophy. Emphasis is placed heavily on improving the technical capabilities of the players and educating the players tactically as they mature mentally.
